Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage can be either an HMO Plan or a PPO plan. The HMO plan has managed care and includes copays within your network. The PPO plan has a monthly premium, along with copays without the network. They typically include prescription drug coverage. They often include coverage for vision care, hearing care, dental care, and gym membership.
Medicare Advantage
Medicare Part C
Medicare Advantage plans are offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare and is an alternative to Original Medicare (Parts A and B). Many plans also provide prescription drug coverage and additional benefits like routine dental and eye care.
Each Medicare Advantage plan sets its own specific costs, but the types of costs they include are similar. You will still have to pay the Part B premium to Medicare.
